i think off, test it

been trying to get connected for days now
the client closed after a few seconds with the old system file
downloaded the new system file and i got these errors

"a hacking tool has been discovered. please try playing again after closing unnecessary programs"
and
"there was a problem when running gameguard. (errorcode=620)"

installed a fresh client, updated (for zillions of times)
my firewalls are off
antivirus off
wht else can go wrong?
tbh i've nvr experienced a problem with l2 client that took days to be solved

for that eror with hacking tools take the host file and make sure u have the nprotect line on it

Ok for all who using windows 7 64bit i found a solution for gameguard errror! Pls check this site and download the gameguard.des! Overwrite it in your system folder! And i hope you can play http://iwinbutton.com/2009/07/04/playing-lineage-2-in-windows-7-gameguard-fix/

Ok...i've read everything u guys posted...and i still can't start the game, i have clean client and i deleted system and than put the new system from system.rar and than i put new hosts file...but i don't understand where u dl new L2Alandra.exe...in L2Alandra.rar i only have hosts file...and when i try to launch from l2alandra.exe from system it tells me something like this "C:\WINDOWS\Microsoft.NET\Framework\v2.0.5072\mscorwks.dll could not be loaded". So can u tell me 1 more time what i need to do to start this server...im new ofc...i have Windows last XP...latest version...

You just need to install Microsoft Net Framework 3.5. And all should be fine. Good luck.
